I like this very much. The composition is simple and works quite well.

To improve a shot like this, I would have focussed on the building, throwing the cactus into soft focus. That would have made a great tourist brochure shot.

Alternatively, if the cactus is intended as the main subject, then it should occupy more of the image area and the building less.

Either way, both elements in this picture complement each other, giving each a sense of place.
Sanchita Mukherjee: I agree with you - wanted to try both variations. Also to highlight the colours - this one worked well, so posted this on the site.
